Bristol International Airport has seen significant growth in passenger numbers in recent years and is one of the fastest growing regional airports within the UK. This has resulted in extensive developments taking place to meet the challenge of this increased demand.

During the past five years Cowlin has undertaken serial contracts at the Airport, totalling £16.5m in value, ranging in value from £200,000 to £5m. Contracts include:

  • Extension to Terminal Building - “Check-In” & “Arrivals” facilities
  • New landside Security & Mezzanine extension
  • New Retail Facilities within Departure Lounge
  • New Helicopter Hangar
  • New Mezzanine Area within Departure Lounge
  • Passenger walkway from Terminal to Aircraft Stands
  • Arrivals Baggage Reclaim Extension
  • Covered walkway from Car Park to Terminal Building
  • Central Core & Retail Unit
  • Reconfiguration of Immigration Facilities
  • Fire Station

Cowlin have established teams who work together to deliver these projects.
