Project: Pole Position, Pynes Hill, Exeter
Client: Eagle One Ltd Value: £4.8m Contract: JCT 1998 with Contractors Design Duration: 51 weeks
This scheme comprised the design & construction of a purpose built office facility including provision of approximately 174 car parking spaces adjacent to the building.
The building provides accommodation on three floors with a gross area of approximately 50,600 square feet and a net area of 42,500 square feet on the 2.4 acre site. The structure includes open plan areas, fed by a central core structure with two lifts, toilets, showers etc, with all services being incorporated within riser ducts. The building benefits from a steel frame structure, composite floors, external cladding of composite panelling, brickwork and blockwork and curved formed roof sheeting. The plant room is integrated within the roof area, consequently providing an aesthetically pleasing appearance without an unacceptable visual impact by the plant room facility. |
