The Care Science project was a two-stage tender contract, built on the Glyntaff Campus of the University. It consisted of two steel frame buildings; one connected to the existing brick built structure and another built running alongside, connected via an internal bridge link.

The external finish is an insulated steel self-finish panel, in conjunction with glazed curtain walling. The extension to the existing building was designed around office use, is two storeys high and also has a reception area and lift. The new building is linked to the existing building by a short flight of stairs and a disabled stair lift.

The second independent building is a teaching block, consisting of numerous classrooms, a lecture theatre and a cafeteria. This is a one storey building connected to the office building by an internal bridge.
