The works comprised the construction of a new secondary school in Redland, Bristol, for 11-16 years, post-16 and students with severe, profound and multiple leaning difficulties.

The works were procured under a 2-stage NEC contract with a two year build programme, built over four floors reducing to one floor following the natural gradient of existing ground. The structure is formed using an eclectic mix of construction forms, from reinforced concrete to steel frame, a sedum roof and biomes ‘street’ roof.
