The works comprised the construction of a School of Art and Design and an Innovation Centre, including refurbishment of the existing School’s buildings, demolition of toilet block and construction of a single storey ceramics building.

Also included in the contract was the demolition of an existing hall and construction of a new five storey block to link to existing wings and provide main access to the development completed the works; external works included new car parks, drainage, service mains and landscaping.
