Arnolfini, one of Europe’s leading centres for the contemporary arts, has undergone a major refurbishment programme.

Located on the Bristol Harbourside, the project created fully accessible premises, including the installation of much needed lifts, and the expansion from two to four floors of Bush House, a Grade II listed 19th century tea warehouse and the Arnolfini’s home for over 30 years.

Public facilities were upgraded and expanded, creating a better environment for all visitors. Also included in the works were new galleries, an education studio, a public library and archive, a new circulation area and an additional 60 seat studio.
